Richard joined the Royal Navy in 1976 and studied for a BEng Electrical Engineering. A post graduate specialisation in Aeronautical Engineering then led to a career mainly involved in certifying the airworthiness of military aircraft. Over the last 15 years he has worked in higher level defence management and led teams developing HR policies, training strategy and implementing Communications and Information Systems, most recently for NATO. Having retired from the Navy, Richard joined EGI.eu in January 2011.
