Sy studied Business Communications in the U.S. focusing on project and financial management, business development, marketing and communication messaging. He has been involved in R&D projects covering both management and support roles such as leading the commercial activities in the series of EGEE projects. His previous experiences in both the U.S. Air Force and Teaching have molded a set of both work ethic and communication skills.
Roles

Analyse strategic themes and trends and produce supporting documents and reports for the EGI.eu Director, EGI Council and the EGI community at large

Liaise with other projects and organisations, including industry and international policy bodies to establish collaboration agreements

Organise meetings and workshops on key strategic themes to EGI and attend relevant events and conferences

Support the formulation and development of policies and procedures by the EGI policy groups.
