The User Services Advisory Group (USAG) provides feedback on the software tools and services offered to the EGI user community. USAG also oversees EGI Helpdesk and compiles the community's requirements regarding documentation, training and databases.
USAG was a forum to discuss the development direction of user-related tools developed within NA3 and JRA1 of the EGI-InSPIRE project. USAG covered the Training Marketplace, the VO Services, the Applications Database, the EGI Helpdesk based on GGUS/xGUS and the VO management section of the Operations Portal. During the USAG telecon meetings the developer teams of these services presented the latest features and the development directions of their tools to USAG members. USAG members gave feedback on these plans in order to facilitate the harmonisation of the development.
