Moving Towards the Clouds

Developing a Cloud Interoperability profile for EGI

Building a federated virtualised resource across Europe will require individual sites to expose their resource consistently to all users. Standards provide a route towards such consistency where they are available, and to get standardised interfaces to interoperate they generally need to profiled. CloudScape III and OGF 31 have provided two opportunities in March to see how such a Cloud Interoperability Profile could emerge.
