Food and drink suggestions for the User Forum evenings
If you’re going to the User Forum next week, here is something that you might find useful.
In Vilnius’ Old Town, or Republic of Užupis, you can find different places with different atmospheres to eat, drink or simply be and chat. There are many bars, restaurants and cafes. Some of them are international, some of them are traditional Lithuanian.
The best way to find nice places is simply to walk through the narrow Old Town streets and I am sure you will find something special for yourself. Here is a short list of places to go for something different, out of the tourist track:

Having already scouted the internet for some rock pubs Republic of Užupis's sister pub on Stepono (http://www.alutis.lt/snekutis/stepono.php), Alaus Namai and Bix (in the Old Town, Etmonu 6) have all been recommended. You'll probably find me and the UK crowd in one of these.
