Workshop at EGI2022

Security Architecture and Risk Management

Security architecture covers the overall system that is required to protect and defend your infrastructure, from people to hardware, from processes to policies, from auditing to risk management. The focal point of the security design is the security and privacy of sensible data and minimising the attack surface.

About this Workshop

In this workshop, we will tackle the main aspects of security architecture, the essentials of OS security, secure network design, virtualisation security and container security. We will discuss some of the security tools and learn which are the key steps of risk management, including how to identify the risks, assess the damage they can cause and implement key security controls to prevent them.

This workshop is organised by Sven Gabriel.
