The EGI Community Forum starts today at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ), in Garching near Munich. The event is held in conjunction with the 2nd EMI Technical Conference.
Today, 26 March, the Community Forum is co-located with the European Globus Community Forum (EGCF). EGCF is the main networking event for the European Globus users and developers.
Tomorrow, we’ll have the Community Forum’s first plenary session with an official welcome from our local host Dieter Kranzlmüller, Georg Antretter (the Bavarian minister of Sciences, Research and the Arts) and Arndt Bode (Chairman of the LRZ Board). The opening session will also include keynote speeches from Kostas Glinos and Alberto Di Meglio.
Steven Newhouse will also present an overview of the last six months of the EGI-InSPIRE project, focusing on the changes recently implemented in response to the review recommendations.
