The European Grid Infrastructure (EGI) is looking for researchers to join the EGI Champion network.
EGI Champions are enthusiastic scientists using grid computing for their research and keen to go to conferences and spread the word about the benefits of working with EGI. In exchange for the Champions' enthusiasm, EGI will contribute to travel expenses and provide networking opportunities with other like-minded scientists across Europe.
If you think you have what it takes, EGI wants to hear from you!
Champions are appointed for 18 months. We will ask you to travel to conferences in your research area to promote the benefits and advantages of EGI to new users. We are particularly looking for individuals working in research areas where grid computing is not yet widely used.
The Champions will gain access to a wealth of technical briefings and support, and will be kept informed about the latest technological developments across the European Grid Infrastructure.
We are looking for people who can see beyond the buzzwords of today and grasp the underlying technologies that we need for the collaborative research of tomorrow.
Champions will form a network of pioneering researchers who will be able to promote best practices and receive support with networking and communication where needed.
If being an EGI Champion appeals to you or might appeal to someone you know then please don’t hesitate to get in touch...
