The EGI Foundation is pleased to announce that the 3rd edition of the Summer School on Data Science (SSDS 2018) will be supported by the EGI <a href="https://www.egi.eu/services/training-infrastructure/">Training Infrastructure</a>.
SSDS 2018 will take place in Split, Croatia, from September 24-28 and will be organised by the&nbsp;Center of Research Excellence for Data Science and Advanced Cooperative Systems.
The event will have at its disposal a total of 60 vCPU cores and 120 GB of RAM offered by the <a href="http://www.ct.infn.it/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">INFN-CATANIA-STACK</a> provider. This will allow the students to learn how to process streams of data using <a href="https://flink.apache.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apache Flink</a>.
This year, the SSDS School is focused on machine learning in data science applications. The program includes hands-on sessions and demonstrating practical aspects.
