We are very happy to announce that the first <a href="http://www.eosc-hub.eu/events/eosc-hub-week-16-20-april-2018-malaga-spain" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">EOSC-hub week</a> will take place in Málaga, Spain, from 16 to 20 April 2018.
The EOSC-hub week will be made of two events: two public days (16-17 April, open to everyone) and an all-hands meeting&nbsp;(18-20 April, open only to EOSC-hub partners).
The public days will take place at the <a href="http://www.fycma.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga</a> (FYCMA), while the all-hands meeting will be hosted by the <a href="https://www.uma.es/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">University of Malaga</a> (UMA).
The public days, sponsored by the&nbsp;<a href="http://www.egi.eu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">EGI Foundation</a>, the&nbsp;<a href="http://www.eudat.eu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">EUDAT CDI</a>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<a href="http://www.extreme-datacloud.eu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">XDC project</a>, welcome the participation of service providers, representatives of the research communities and policy makers engaged in the establishment of the&nbsp;European Open Science Cloud.
The first day will kick-off with a keynote presentation by&nbsp;Augusto Burgueño Arjona, Head of the eInfrastructure Unit of the Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT). The programme of this day features four main tracks dedicated to users, service providers, policy and technology.
The second day is structured around specific e-infrastructures workshops, such as “EGI in the EOSC ERA: Status, Impact and Future steps”, “EOSC AAI”, etc.
The all-hands meeting is&nbsp;exclusively open&nbsp;to EOSC-hub partners.
A welcome coffee will be served starting 12:30 pm on the first day of the event.
The <a href="http://eosc-hub.eu/eosc-hub-week-2018-programme" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">draft programme</a> of the event and <a href="http://eosc-hub.eu/events/eosc-hub-week-16-20-april-2018-malaga-spain" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">instructions for registration</a> are now available online.
