MATLAB

MATLAB is a programming and numeric computing platform used by millions of engineers and scientists to analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models.

MATLAB combines a desktop environment tuned for iterative analysis and design processes with a programming language that expresses matrix and array mathematics directly. It includes the Live Editor for creating scripts that combine code, output, and formatted text in an executable notebook.

Access Policy

MathWorks and EGI are partnering to offer a web-based version of MATLAB via the EGI Notebooks service, making the familiar MATLAB desktop environment accessible via Jupyter notebooks.

MATLAB and EGI

All the standard MATLAB functionality is available via EGI’s hosted MATLAB, including:

Users of Campus-, Institute- and Enterprise MATLAB licenses can use their email logins as credentials to access the service. All products and toolboxes covered by a user’s license will be available to that user on the EGI Federated Cloud infrastructure.
