Information security management systems

ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It defines the requirements an ISMS must meet. The ISO/IEC 27001 standard provides companies of any size and from all sectors of activity with guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system.

EGI has established a system to manage risks related to data security owned or handled by the company. EGI seeks to improve its information security posture, abide by legal and regulatory standards, cultivate stakeholder confidence, and gain an advantage in the digital environment. A dedication to safeguarding necessary resources and private information is shown by ISO/IEC 27001, which provides a systematic framework for addressing information security threats.
