Train to Science Park
The nearest train station is Amsterdam Science Park.
The Science Park train station can be reached by direct trains from Amsterdam Centraal. There are four trains an hour each way, leaving:
- From Amsterdam Centraal to Science Park – at 10, 23, 40 and 53 minutes past the hour
- From Science Park to Amsterdam Centraal – at 10, 28, 40 and 58 minutes past the hour
All trains go/come directly to/from Schiphol Airport after a short stop in Amsterdam Centraal.

After leaving the train, take the stairs down, turn left and go straight ahead under the railway bridge. Follow this route straight ahead for a about 600 metres, until you see a white/grey building on your left. It takes you about 8 minutes to walk from the station to EGI.
Train to Amstel station
The second closest train station is Amstel Station. From there, you can take bus 40/240 to Science Park, make sure you get off the bus at the stop Science Park Aqua. Cross the street the white/grey building on your right is the EGI building.
Science Park is served by the following bus line:
- 40: from Amstelstation to Muiderpoortstation (route)
The stop closest to the EGI building is Science Park Aqua.
Traveling from the Airport
The most convenient way to travel to Science Park from Schiphol Airport is by direct train: the trains to ‘Amersfoort Vathorst’ and ‘Zwolle’ stop at the Science Park station (after Amsterdam Centraal and Amsterdam Muiderpoort). Travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
