EGI2026 Call for Contributions deadline extended to 20 April

Good news for everyone still fine-tuning their submission: the deadline for the EGI2026 Call for Contributions has been extended to Monday, 20 April 2026 at 23:59 CEST.
You now have a few extra days to prepare your submission for a long talk, short talk, poster, or demonstration, and have an opportunity to secure your place in the programme of our annual gathering for data-intensive research and innovation.
This year, the EGI Conference brings us to lovely Ghent, where we will take over the historic 13th century 'Bijloke' venue for an engaging and full conference programme from 21–25 September 2026.
- Call extended until: 20 April 2026, 23:59 CEST (previously 13 April)
- Confirmation of acceptance: On or before 30 April
Contribution types
- Short Talk (8' + 2' Q&A)
- Long talk (17' + 3' Q&A)
- Poster (A0 display + 1' presentation)
- Demonstration (max 30' + 1' pitch presentation)
