Can you explain what the two projects do?

The two projects - Climate-Adapt4EOSC and FAIR2Adapt - are committed to developing tools and solutions that enable data-driven planning and execution of climate adaptation activities. Both projects are developing data integration solutions that will reduce the effort needed to integrate data from different sources and turn it into a robust, FAIR foundation for climate adaptation activities. Both projects include a wide range of demonstration and validation activities that showcase the value of FAIR data and open science.

What is the relationship with EGI?

Both projects are active participants in the EOSC ecosystem development and, as such, utilise EGI services and solutions both directly and indirectly.

Why do you think it’s important to be at EGI2025?

EGI Conferences bring together a diverse, global community of experts and activities. Many of these activities have obvious synergies with the two projects, and the conference is an ideal opportunity to build on them. Equally importantly, the EGI conference is also an opportunity to discover non-obvious synergies through fortuitous encounters.

What can people expect when they come to your booth?

Curiosity, engagement on topics from shrinking clays to ro-crates - and most of the issues in between. We will also promote both projects by presenting our vision of FAIR Digital Objects, Cross-Domain Interoperability Framework and services based on them.
