On October 15, 2026, RAISE launched the RAISE Hub to bring together information, initiatives, and communities on AI in science into one shared space.
RAISE Hub: One gateway to Europe’s AI in Science Community

Researchers across Europe now have a single place to find the people, data, computing power, and expertise they need to put AI to work on science’s biggest challenges. On 15th October 2026, RAISE, the Resource for AI Science in Europe, launched the RAISE Hub. The Hub brings together information, initiatives and communities on AI in science in one shared space and opens two connected services: the RAISE Forum for collaboration and the RAISE Observatory for mapping the European AI in science landscape.
Currently in its pilot phase, RAISE is coordinated by the SCIANCE project. Through a community-driven approach, SCIANCE brings together scientists, AI researchers, infrastructures and policymakers to identify strategic scientific challenges for which AI can have the greatest impact and accelerate the adoption of trustworthy and sustainable AI methods for scientific research across Europe. Through the Hub, users can access the RAISE Forum to exchange knowledge and collaborate, and the RAISE Observatory to explore the European AI in Science ecosystem.
“Europe has a unique opportunity to bring together its scientific excellence, data and computing capacity, identify shared community priorities and build the momentum needed for a competitive yet sustainable use of AI in science. RAISE will succeed only with the active involvement of the research community. We invite researchers across all disciplines to join us and help shape the future of AI-enabled science in Europe.” – Jonas L’Haridon, SCIANCE Coordinator, ESF
Researchers across Europe are invited to connect with RAISE through the following pathways:
- RAISE Hub: the central access point for information and resources on European AI-enabled science and RAISE, including links to existing initiatives, resources and platforms, good practices on AI-enabled scientific research and updates from RAISE.
- RAISE Forum: the community platform where researchers, infrastructure providers, funders, public contributors, decision-makers, projects and initiatives cooperate across Europe. Forum participants can share recent research findings, good practices, community events, and contribute to consultations and feedback processes that shape the future of AI in Science.
- RAISE Observatory: a discovery and analytics service providing up-to-date information and insights on the European AI in Science ecosystem. The Observatory helps explore organisations, projects, infrastructures, funding activities and scientific outputs, supporting ecosystem mapping, discovery and strategic analysis across Europe.
As lead for the project's Feasibility Assessment and Roadmap, EGI Foundation will ensure that infrastructure upgrade scenarios and cooperation mechanisms are realistic, actionable and aligned with the relevant stakeholder groups and roadmaps. The final result will be documented in the AI in Science Roadmap. Additionally, EGI Foundation is leading project communication, dissemination and engagement activities, overseeing the tasks dealing with the set up of the RAISE Secretariat for AI in Science, the stakeholder management and the RAISE Academy.
“RAISE will help bring Europe’s computing, data, skills and funding to the scientific challenges where AI can do the most, and EGI is proud to be part of it through SCIANCE. We built the RAISE Hub and Forum, and we will facilitate the development of the roadmap for the infrastructure that AI-enabled science will need. Join the Forum and share your challenges and priorities.” – Sergio Andreozzi, Head of Strategy, Innovation and Communications, EGI Foundation
