Updates from the INDIGO All-Hands Meeting

The INDIGO-DataCloud All-Hands Meeting welcomed over 80 participants at the INFN National Laboratories in Frascati (Rome), 4 to 6 May.

At the end of the first year, the project made good progress and expects to have its first service release in July. The eleven Champions identified from the participating groups are helping to bridge the communication between research communities and INDIGO and to reduce the gap between researchers and technology.

EGI is also contributing to the efforts of interacting with the scientific community and ensures their requirements are addressed by INDIGO solutions.

In the next months, the development of INDIGO will focus on better understanding the community data management plans, better integrating the service components and demonstrating the service solution via real-world use cases.
