The&nbsp;<a href="https://www.rd-alliance.org/data-management-services-cloud" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Data Management Services In The Cloud</a>&nbsp;event will be held in Barcelona on April 4, collocated with the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.rd-alliance.org/plenaries/rda-ninth-plenary-meeting-barcelona" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">RDA 9th Plenary Meeting</a>.
The focus of the event is the analysis of the requirements and solutions of effectively handling data management using cloud services.
The event will take as starting point the analysis in the <a href="https://www.indigo-datacloud.eu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">INDIGO-DataCloud </a>project to define data integrity tests to be performed associated to data ingestion.
The meeting will start comparing generic approaches from different cloud-related providers (such as INDIGO-DataCloud, EGI, EUDAT), and it will be followed by presentations of case studies, related to communities with large impact in research. In the final part of the meeting the existing solutions based on cloud services will be matched to the presented case studies.
