Attending EGU 2023? Meet us there!

What is EGU?

EGU is a non-profit international union of scientists that aims to promote research and education in the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. EGU was founded in 2002 and has more than 20,000 members from over 140 countries. One of EGU’s primary activities is the organization of an annual General Assembly, which brings together scientists from various fields of geosciences to present and discuss their research findings. The General Assembly is one of the largest scientific conferences in the world. It provides a platform for scientists to exchange ideas, collaborate, and keep up-to-date with the latest developments in their field. The General Assembly features a wide range of sessions, including oral and poster presentations, short courses, and debates, covering topics such as atmospheric sciences, geology, hydrology, oceanography, and planetary science.
