EGI at COP 27, the UN Conference on Climate Change

EGI is proud to be, for the first time, at COP, the largest annual gathering on climate action. From 6 to 18 November, Heads of State, ministers, and negotiators, along with climate activists, mayors, civil society representatives, scientists and international organisations, are meeting in the Egyptian coastal city of Sharm el-Sheikh. At the Climate Change Conference (COP 27), countries come together to take action towards achieving the world’s collective climate goals as agreed upon under the Paris Agreement and the Convention.

EGI will participate in the side event organised in Cryosphere pavillion

EGI’s Community Support Specialist Marta Gutiérrez will represent EGI and the new project GREAT at the side event in the Cryosphere pavilion.

The session will be streamed on Monday 14th of November, 16:00 (+2 GMT)
