The EOSC National Tripartite Event, held on the second day of the Slovenian Open Science Day 2025, will highlight how national and European partners are advancing the EOSC Federation and strengthening tripartite collaboration between the European Commission, the EOSC Association, and national stakeholders.
The programme includes a round table on connecting EOSC and supercomputing through research infrastructures, a session on developing the national EOSC Node with data centres and core services, and discussions on the impact of supercomputing on research and innovation.
Hosted by ARNES within the Knowledge Network 2025 conference and National Science Month 2025, the event is developed in partnership with the Slovenian Open Science Community and is thematically linked to the SLING Days, Slovenia’s main supercomputing event. It will gather national stakeholders and representatives of the European Commission, the EOSC Association, EuroHPC, ESFRI, and UNESCO.
EGI Foundation Director Tiziana Ferrari takes part in the panel discussion “Research infrastructures as the intersection of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and supercomputing” at 9:15-11:00 CET, sharing lessons learned from EGI for onboarding services and supporting diverse communities in the context of service federation at scale and integrating compute and data across EOSC/HPC.
