Thematic Summit on Health & Food, Environment, and Data, Computing & Digital Research Infrastructures
Masaryk University (MUNI) is hosting a specialized Thematic Summit in Brno under the auspices of the RIFF project. This specific summit focuses on three major scientific domains: Environment; Health & Food; and Data, Computing & Digital Research Infrastructures.
The event’s primary goals are to:
- Foster closer collaboration between the Ukrainian research community and European Research Infrastructures (RIs).
- Promote the seamless integration of Ukrainian RIs into the European Research Area (ERA).
- Support long-term, sustainable reconstruction efforts for the region’s scientific landscape.
EGI Foundation at the RIFF Summit
Our Communications Specialist & Community Engagement Manager, Ilaria Fava, will be representing EGI on the opening day of the summit, Monday, 15 June. She is set to speak during the DIGIT afternoon session, which kicks off at 14:30.
Ilaria will share insights on EGI’s role as a cornerstone player within the digital infrastructure domain, offering our perspective on how advanced computing and data services can help drive these critical international collaborations and integration efforts forward.
