We are happy to announce that registration is open for a new EGI training service: ISO 27001 Training.

The ISO 27001 training teaches the fundamentals of Information Security and how to implement a management system (ISMS) within a given organisation. ISO 27001 is part of the ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards designed to help organisations keep information assets secure. It offers an efficient approach to managing and securing information such as intellectual property, finances, personal data, both internal and data entrusted by third parties.

The training programme is structured in two levels: Foundation and Professional.

The first ISO 27001 Foundation training will take place in Amsterdam, from 19 to 21 September. A formal certification will be offered to all participants of the course that successfully pass the final exam.
