Damla Rowlandson is a Senior Service Delivery Officer and IMS & ISM Manager at EGI Foundation. With over 17 years of experience in IT operations, service management, and information security governance, she oversees the organisation’s Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring alignment across IT Service Management, Information Security Management, risk management, and continuous improvement practices. She is responsible for maintaining and evolving EGI’s governance framework in line with FitSM and ISO 27001 principles, strengthening organisational resilience, compliance, and secure service delivery across EGI’s federated infrastructure.
Prior to joining EGI, Damla led significant IT transformation initiatives at CarNext.com, ensuring operational continuity and delivering substantial cost efficiencies. At Wolters Kluwer Enablon, she supported the adoption of structured ITSM processes and contributed to maintaining SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 compliance.
She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Yildiz Technical University and a BBA in Business Administration from Anadolu University. Damla is certified in FitSM Foundation and FitSM Advanced Service Planning & Delivery (SPD), holds the Transits 1 certification, and previously obtained ITIL v3 Service Transition and ITIL v4 Strategist: DPI certifications.
