Montserrat González is Senior Strategy and Innovation Officer at the EGI Foundation. Her involvement in several EU-funded projects, such as EOSC and AI-related initiatives, focuses on strategic planning and innovation in the use of technologies and research infrastructures. In her over ten years of experience in the scientific community in Europe, she has coordinated the access to research infrastructures, managed projects and services, created service management systems, contributed to pan-european projects, worked on data protection, and contributed to training on the subjects above at a variety of organisations like EMBL-EBI, ELIXIR and the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre.
She holds an Executive Master in Management of Research Infrastructures (University of Milano-Bicocca), an MSc and a BSc in Telecommunications Engineering (Technical University of Catalonia, BarcelonaTech), as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Parallel Computing Architectures for Science (Autonomous University of Barcelona). Furthermore, she is a certified Project Management Professional, FitSM Expert, Scrum Master, and Data Protection Practitioner.
