Registration

All upcoming training events, including dates and locations, are available in the EGI Training Calendar. To register, please visit the individual pages for registration details and associated information. Registrants will receive a confirmation of registration to establish a date received as the number of participants is limited per training and applications will be considered in the order they are received.

By sending the registration form, registrants hereby accept the terms and conditions written here in.

Cancellation and Withdrawal

EGI.eu reserves the right to cancel any training event that has not met the specified minimum participant number or force majeure. In case of cancellation, EGI.eu will try to rebook registrants on another date and/or another venue by which the registrant can accept or refuse. Upon refusal, any paid fees will be returned within 21 days. All trainings will be confirmed at least 30 days prior to the scheduled date. The participant can cancel registration free of charge anytime prior to confirmation. After which, refunds will be reduced by 25% each week until the event. No refunds are possible within 7 days of the event.

The registration to training done by an individual, in its own name, can be cancelled without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which the participant has registered. The participant must inform the organizer of the decision to cancel the order via training@egi.eu.

Fees

Any applicable training fees must be paid for the place to be reserved.

Exemption Policy

Any exemptions will be handled on a case-by-case basis, please contact training@egi.eu.

Complaints and Settlement of disputes

Acknowledgement of receipt is sent within 2 working hours. Standard complaints are handled by the relevant personnel within 3 working days. For any complaints requiring more than 3 working days, the submitter will be notified.

The Parties shall endeavour to settle their disputes amicably.

All complaints are registered and the record is kept for a period of 2 years. All complaints are to be considered confidential and are handled accordingly.

Any dispute, controversy or claim arising under, out of or relating to this training contract and any subsequent amendments of this training contract, including, without limitation, its formation, validity, binding effect, interpretation, performance, breach or termination, as well as non-contractual claims, will try to be solved through mediation. The external mediator will be ITEMO – IT Education Management Organisation e.V. which has its registered seat in Landaubogen 1 – 81373 München – Germany. ITEMO can be contacted by any party at this email address: vorstand AT itemo.org.

The Parties undertake not to put an end to the mediation before the introductory statement made by each Party in a joint session. Any final agreement putting an end to the dispute, which resulted from the mediation is binding to the EGI Foundation. Should the mediation fail to bring about a full agreement between the Parties putting an end to the dispute, the sole competent courts will be the courts of Amsterdam.

Please direct any questions, complaints or claims by email to contact@egi.eu or by regular mail at EGI Foundation, Science Park 140, 1098XG Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
