EGI2023 took place in Poznań, Poland – from June 19th to June 23rd!
At the annual EGI conference, international scientific communities, computing and service providers, European projects, security experts, community managers, and policy makers gathered to take research and innovation in data-intensive processing and analytics forward.

How to get to Poznań
Situated exactly half-way between Berlin and Warsaw, Poznań lies at the crossroads of national and international routes. Poznań is also an important rail hub with trains arriving from all over Poland and abroad. The journey to Berlin takes 3 hours. Poznań Ławica Airport offers direct flight connections with 30* cities in Europe and Asia. Among them are the major international airline hubs.
Code of Conduct
At EGI, we are dedicated to provide a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.
If a participant engages in harassing behaviour – including on our online platforms – event organisers retain the right to take any actions to keep the event a welcoming environment for all participants. Delegates violating our Code of Conduct will be asked to cease immediately. Repeated non-compliance may result in exclusion of the conference withouth reimbursement.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
- Insulting comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, …;
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following;
- Sustained disruption of talks or other events;
- Inappropriate physical contact;
- Unwelcome sexual attention;
- Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour.
If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it as soon as possible. Harassment and other code of conduct violations reduce the value of our event for everyone. We want you to be happy at our event. People like you make our event a better place!
