About

Peachnote is a music score search engine and analysis platform. Peachnote lets you discover new sides of music, find great performances and improve your score reading. The system is the first of its kind and is visited by thousands of users every day from all over the world.

Challenge

Peachnote.com needs cloud resources to give visitors of their website access to a massive amount of music data.

EGI DIH Collaboration with Peachnote

We are delighted to announce an agreement (service level agreement) between a group of EGI data centres and Peachnote. Thanks to the agreement, Peachnote.com will be able to access Cloud Compute resources delivered by the following data centres of EGI:

CESNET-MetaCloud (Czech Republic)

FZJ (Germany)

Impact

In total, the centres are offering 108 virtual CPU cores, 162 GB of memory and 8TiB of storage. Peachnote.com will use these cloud resources to give visitors of their website access to a massive amount of music data.

Giuseppe La Rocca, Technical Outreach Expert at the EGI Foundation, is confident that the agreement will offer music enthusiasts new ways to explore the Peachnote treasure trove.

Vladimir Viro, Founder of Peachnote.com, comments on the SLA: “Over the last years the support provided by EGI has allowed us to serve hundreds of thousands of musicians and thousands of researchers and scholars from all over the world.”
