Can you explain what PRACE is?

PRACE strives to represent the interests and identify the needs of users of HPC and related technologies – artificial intelligence, quantum computing, cloud computing, data science etc. – in Europe. The Association pursues actions to enable high-impact research and innovation across all disciplines and industrial applications.

What is the relationship with EGI?

As a peer e-Infrastructure of EGI, we try to find synergies and opportunities for collaboration that mutually benefit our user communities.

Why do you think it’s important to be at EGI2026?

Being present at EGI2026 makes the collaboration between our organisations visible to target audiences that we might not be able to reach individually. It also underlines the European network that has been developed between e-Infrastructures to amplify our individual and mutual relevance.

What can people expect when they come to your booth?

Attendees of EGI2026 will be able to hear about the projects and activities that PRACE deploys, and discuss the benefits of becoming a member of PRACE.
