ClustalW2 is a multiple sequence alignment tool for the alignment of DNA or protein sequences. It can be used by Bioinformatics researchers worldwide.

ClustalW2 is currently maintained at the Institute UCD Dublin in Ireland.

ClustalW2 can be accessed via the EGI Applications on Demand Platform.

ClustalW2 uses EGI High-Throughput Compute resources offered by the following EGI providers: INFN-Catania (Italy), INFN-Bari (Italy), CYFRONET-LCG2 (Poland), BEgrid-ULV-VUB (Netherlands) and CESGA (Spain).
